RISING WOMEN EXPERTS...
In the past month I have struggled to keep my focus. I
feel like I am losing my passion for my business. What steps can I take to
re-frame and regain my passion?

This is an opportunity to take stock. Success at any business is success
on purpose. In order to manage your business and to grow focus and passion,
you need to be fully present day by day, and accountable and responsible for
the choices you make. Believing is seeing. Being fully present for anything
needs refreshers that come from great personal discipline, targeted
self-care and strategic choices. The challenge we all face is managing
limited resources, like our time. We often tell ourselves we are too busy
and we work in our business, not on it.
Loss of focus can be the result of many issues. The re-frame on this issue
can be like creating a new, nurturing soup containing the right ingredients.
First step is to be able to take a small amount of time and challenge your
attitude. Identify what state you are in. For example: “Until now, I have
been out of focus.” Try an attitude adjustment; change you thoughts, change
your outcomes.
Next we need to add a handful of re-juvenators for our emotions and our
energy. This may require some hard core changes like eating nourishing,
high-energy foods, initiating or enhancing your exercise program, starting a
breathe work program, reading motivation books and making sure you get high,
quality rest. You can also enjoy spending time with your friends. Don’t
forget that laughter is essential to great passion.
Next listen to your self and what you talk yourself into. You become what
you tell yourself. Drop the negative and re-frame your self talk.
Now you can lower the heat and simmer while adding a pinch or two of
personal discipline to create a sense of personal urgency with a deadline or
goal. Focus is in the doing and the statement “Just Do It” builds the
capacity for focus when applied daily.
Last step is what strategic choices you are making; passion comes from
purpose and the win. Are you listening to your own wisdom. Define and
re-define you purpose, plus celebrate the win.
We need to repeat the above for an extended period of time to achieve a long
term result. It’s time to eat up the rewards - a great bowl of soup.
