RISING WOMEN EXPERT ADVICE...
How can I take care of my acne problem without using drugs? Beautiful skin is gut
deep! Any toxins in the gut, liver, lungs and kidneys will show up in the
skin. If your forehead breaks out, it is your liver. If your cheeks
breakout, it is your lungs. If your chin breaks out, it is your large
intestine, and if you break out everywhere on your face, then your blood is
weak. If you have hormonal problems they will usually show up on your jaw
bone or neck. Kidney toxins often show up on your back.
Cystic acne involves the lymphatic system and possibly some inherited
problems that are only resolved by a skilled practitioner using homeopathy.
First you must clean up the diet. The best diet for severe acne is eating
fresh, raw vegetables, a variety of sprouts, with a very small amount of
fruit, brown rice, millet, quinoa or any other whole grains. Check your
favourite vegetarian cookbook for how to cook these grains.
Eat as many raw veggies as you can handle. Some people cannot tolerate the
fiber very well so you try steaming the veggies very slightly so that you
can digest things well enough without aggravating your gut.
Second, use a fiber supplement like ground golden flax or a psyllium
combination fiber blend. Mix with 1 or 2 tbsp of bentonite clay liquid in
plain water or an unsweetened fruit juice. Drink quickly and follow with
another 125 to 250 ml of water. Drink this two times per day. Also, dry skin
brush daily and drink plenty of filtered, alkaline water (2 to 3 litres per
day).
Thirdly, do at least six colonics during this period while you are doing the
above to steps. The worse your skin is, the longer this will take. I usually
recommend to do at least one colonic per week, but some people could handle
two or three per week.
Lastly, use herbs like yellow dock, red clover, goldenseal, barberry, oregon
grape root, burdock or other skin/lymph/blood cleansers. Take these
throughout the day with your food.
You will also need a friendly flora supplement which will be needed to
replenish the good bacteria in your gut…very important for healthy skin.
