RISING WOMEN EXPERTS...
How can I tell if the signs and guidance I’m receiving is really from my
angels?
By Allison Giles, Angel Therapy PractitionerIf you are
truly receiving messages and guidance from your angels, you will feel safe
and loved. True angelic guidance is always love based and is spoken kindly
and gently. If you are hearing or having thoughts that are rude, judgmental
or fear based, then you are hearing from the ego. The ego is the “self” of a
person who is always reacting to the outside world. If you are feeding into
your ego, then you believe that you are separate from your true divine self.
We all have an ego but it’s important to not let it get the best of you. You
can ask your angels to help remove your ego from the picture so you can
receive your real love based messages more clearly.
The ego fears change and as you start to progress and make healthy changes,
following your real guidance which always seeks to bring you closer to your
joy, the ego will raise it’s voice and do it’s best to instill fear and hold
you back. Some of the blocks that can prevent us from receiving our true
guidance will be fear, past life issues, trying too hard to force a
connection, not taking enough quiet time or worrying whether or not we are
capable enough.
True angelic guidance is repetitive; the angels will send the same message
until they know you have received it. False guidance isn’t consistent, it
entails conflicting messages that appear scattered and are hard to follow.
Your intuition will try to tell you that something about this message just
doesn’t seem quite right. Real guidance comes from a mind set of how to help
others and how to heal a situation. Whereas the ego will have the mind set
of “how can I get ahead or what’s in it for me?”
The angels help us to move forward gently with the situations we’re working
on in our lives, they guide us to take baby steps and want us to feel secure
and comforted along the way. If you are receiving guidance that is asking
you to make drastic, frightening changes that you aren’t comfortable with
then you will know it is not your angels speaking. Sometimes the angels will
give us guidance or answer our prayers in ways we wouldn’t expect so I
encourage you not to discount the small everyday signs or urges to do
something as simple as make a phone call or pick up a certain book.
Once you can distinguish the difference between real and false guidance it
is important to trust in the real guidance as the more you trust the more
messages you will receive.
