Energy Vibrations - The Invisible Forces That Maintain Our Beliefs

Have you heard the saying, “you get what you think about”? There is one stipulation, though, and that is that you will only create what you think about if you really believe it is truly possible.

Maintaining beliefs of possibilities may be challenging as our society is continually bombarded with messages of fear and doubt. If you doubt the possibility of your goal becoming a reality, or fear that you will be disappointed, you are actually radiating dense energy outwardly, and ultimately blocking the ability to achieve your goal. The more you doubt, the more you block. You can imagine how important this is in a job interview, for example. When you understand this, the statement - the power of positive thinking - takes on a whole new meaning.

You can also use this concept to manifest things in the negative. If you are thinking about what you don’t want in order to avoid it, you are actually manifesting it. Then, after it happens, you respond with: “See, it is a good thing I was prepared for that disappointment.” This type of thinking is fear based, self-sabotaging and keeps you in a victim mindset.

How do you change this undesirable cycle of sabotaging your own desires? How do you reprogram yourself to transcend that deeply ingrained habit of worry, doubt and negative thought? Picture this: if you were to accidentally pick up a red, hot coal, you would immediately drop it because it harmed you. Worry thoughts are like hot coals. Holding on to them creates unnecessary pain. When you find yourself worrying or thinking about anything that makes you feel badly, let go of that thought, just as you would quickly drop a hot coal! But remember to not only let it go, you must also let it die. Most people overlook this important final step.

Every time you catch yourself worrying or thinking something negative, you can also offset it by giving yourself something you love. For example, if you enjoy peacefulness, visualize your most peaceful place to be; and stay there for a while. Reinforce this process by using a second modality of encouragement, such as treating yourself to your favourite food or snack. Or, if you are an auditory person, play your favourite music. Are you kinesthetic? Massage your legs and feet, or your temples. Reprogramming is an absolutely amazing process. You just have to be dedicated! Only YOU can change your programming and habit patterns.

Or, if you believe in a higher self, you can ask for help at that level of consciousness. Do you just ask once? Not likely. To form a chain of manifestation energy, it is likely that you must ask over and over so that you will maintain a continuous momentum. Staying in contact with your higher self, or as some consider it, your source, allows you to unplug from the fear-based thoughts, feelings and behaviours. When this dense energy is cleared, you can anchor and secure your higher self in your body, become a conscious creator, and create your version of Heaven on Earth.

Let’s not forget that your thoughts also affect those around you. All thoughts broken down in their finest form are actually energy. We all have different levels of energy vibrations, usually determined by whether our thoughts, words and feelings are positive or negative. If you are constantly worried or thinking negative thoughts, this “energy” is powerful enough to influence the thoughts and feelings of those around you. So, you can imagine what it does to you if you are in an environment where people are negative. It is more toxic than any environmental illness known to humankind. It is also more insidious because unlike odours and sounds, the negative energy is not easily recognized by most, yet it permeates the mind, body and spirit.

By paying attention to how you feel while you are in the presence of another, you can determine energy dynamics that the person may not even be aware of. For example, let’s say you are dating a man for the first time. He appears to be a intelligent, kind, successful and humorous man; the kind any woman would love to be with, or marry. Despite all of this obvious good stuff, there is something unseen, however, that makes you feel uncomfortable. The feeling of discomfort comes without any evidence, so you pass it off as caution and fear, thinking that you will get over the feeling. What you may be picking up on is a heavy energy related to a personal dynamic that you unconsciously know will clash with who you are. Your feelings, intuition and recognition of energy vibrations are the most powerful tools you can use throughout your life. Intuition allows you to live from a higher place of knowing and understanding, and if you will trust it and pay attention to it, you can avoid countless years of drama, confusion and pain.

Another way to raise your personal vibration is to be mindful not to react to the lower energies. For example, if it feels like you are being attacked in a business meeting, remember not to react with a weak energy because you are actually setting up a vibration that attracts more of the same - like vibrations attract like vibrations. Therefore, if someone is hateful to you, it is in your own best interest not to fight back with that same tone. You can train yourself to immediately resonate from a place of love within you, and react accordingly. This is a direct line to your source. Intentional people do this instinctively all the time. They know that if they are operating from a higher energy vibration, other people can’t bring them down unless they join them at their lower energy vibration. Instead, they choose to react from a higher level of vibration, knowing that their own higher energy can nullify or even reverse the lower energy vibrations of others. We all have this amazing power inside of us!
