I have long
considered network marketing because I know I could be successful with the
right company and product. What should I look for when considering this type
of opportunity?
I have asked myself this question many times over years. Born with an
entrepreneurial spirit, an outgoing personality and strong ability to
relate, like many women, I was very attracted to network marketing. The hard
part was that I was never able to effectively sell people on nutritional
supplements or beauty products. However, my dreams have grown over the
years. While I didn’t enter into this type of business, I never stopped
looking. Life is too short to spend time away from family making someone
else rich. Network marketing can provide passive, residual income and the
freedom to do the important things in life such as living it to its fullest!
Cooperation versus Competition - The nutrition and beauty industries are
saturated. Pick a less tapped industry that compliments these businesses.
Choose a product that distributors in both industries can use and promote
without conflict. This makes it easy to attract business builders!
Same Cost as the Drugstore - Most products sold in network marketing cost
more than those in stores. Choose a product whose price is the same or less.
Simple & Consumable - Find an everyday, common product that is needed and is
consumed regularly. This approach requires little after-sale service
(they’ll “know how to use it”) and gives you more time to focus on market
expansion and team building. It also proposes a business system that is
simple to learn and easy to teach.
Brand Loyalty - Choose a product that people won’t pick randomly off the
shelf. Think of the brands you are loyal to. If you promote a consumable,
necessity product that demands this same loyalty, you’ve got it made!
Active Upline - Finding the right product is only half the battle. A
supportive, active sponsor who provides training and opportunities will
improve your chances for success.
Women are natural networkers! Find a company that allows you to leverage
this incredible networking power to build and shape your future. Each of us
has an innate desire to make the world a better place with deep commitment
to family and our community. Network marketing CAN work if you keep these
tips in mind when selecting the company you choose to work with.
