RISING WOMEN EXPERT
ADVICE...
I really want to get my goals in motion
but I need more than just having them written down to manifest them. I read
about vision boards in the last issue {RWM Jan/Feb 10}. Can you tell me more about
these and the process?
Our passion is what creates the outcomes of our lives. What we focus on
is automatically drawn to us. This is why it is so important to monitor our
inner chatter, and turn those negative thoughts around the instant we become
aware of them. It is high time that we start to realize own power,
responsibility and infinite capacity for manifesting whatever it is that we
desire. Once we figure out what it is that we really want, the universe
can’t help but respond! What is it that you are passionate about? What do
you wish to create in your life?
Creating a vision board is an extremely effective way to jumpstart the
process of identifying our goals and living fully, completely and to our
highest potential. It is also a very easy and fun thing to do, provided you
follow a few simple steps. The first one is to schedule some uninterrupted
time to work on your masterpiece. This is crucial. It will help to begin
with a meditation, a walk in nature, anything that will give you the quiet
time needed to connect with your higher self. The second step is to gather
supplies (magazines, photos, scissors, glue and a piece of poster paper).
And the last step is to make sure that you finish the job and display your
vision board somewhere you will see it regularly. The more often you are
reminded of what it is that you intend to manifest, the more quickly it will
materialize.
As you start going through the magazines and photos that you collected, you
will notice that certain images and words appeal to you. Very quickly
patterns will emerge and begin illuminating the way. Don’t question
anything, just go with it! Cut them out and begin to arrange on your poster
board. The best results happen when you shut your brain off and just go with
instincts and feeling. There is no right or wrong way to do it; creating a
vision board is a highly individualized process. All you must do is
completely trust your intuition and allow your imagination to flow freely.
Sometimes a group setting can be very beneficial to the process, especially
if it is a group of people with a like- minded purpose or interests. It is a
good idea to create a new Vision Board every once in awhile, as your life
changes and grows. Happy creating!
