RISING WOMEN EXPERT ADVICE...

What alternative therapies exist for psoriasis?

On educational wall posters in doctor’s offices it states: “A cure for psoriasis has not been found yet.” If the cause of a disease is not clearly understood, how can a solution be found?

Psoriasis appears as Epithelial Ulcers on the outer layer of the skin. Before the actual irritating skin symptoms are noticeable, there is gradual decline of sensitivity and possible impairment of short-term memory.

The skin is not only the largest exterior sensatory organ. It is also called the “third kidney” as the skin helps the body eliminate toxins. The emotion of fear is primarily metabolized by the kidney. Abandonment is registered in the survival program of the human species and is one of the most life threatening fears. The shock of separation is registered in the sensory and post-sensory cortex of the brain of all mammals, including humans.

Nature is wise. Reduced sensitivity and short-term memory loss serve to ease the pain of the abandonment or separation. Now if the individual were to re-frame their perceptions in a non-threatening way around this perceived abandonment or separation, healing would commence. During this healing, the irritating symptoms of Psoriasis would arise and then clear by themselves thus reinstating normal skin function. However, without such re-framing, no fundamental healing will be available. This is the work of Dr. Hamer, MD and German New Medicine.

This article is based on an actual case where a worried mother riddled with emotion over the possibility of losing her child, handed her eight month old baby over to the surgeon for a serious operation. The operation was successful, however the morning after the operation the mother had psoriasis on top of both her hands. Nine months later, the mother received a phone call from the same surgeon indicating another possible operation. The mother once again went into the fear of loss (abandonment/ separation) and the psoriasis reappeared.

The cure for this mothers psoriasis, based on the concept behind German New Medicine, could very well be about addressing the fear of her abandonment/separation issues.
