RISING WOMEN EXPERT
ADVICE...
In this down turn economy, how can I create a roadmap that will
strategically position my business for growth, success and profit?
Here is a 9 step process for creating your roadmap for a thriving
business:
1) Do a personal SWOT and a business SWOT. SWOT (strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats) is an analysis of where you are and where you
need to be to thrive. From this information you can craft a strategic action
plan. Once you start, you will notice a difference in how people react
because you will step into your own power and be in a state of flow.
2) Craft a list of raving fans who you can turn to for support and who will
also help you generate referrals.
3) Craft a list of mentors/leaders you would like to aspire to be like. This
will elevate your charisma. When you surround yourself with the feel of
success, you create it.
4) Create a daily commitment action list every night for the next day. Chunk
down what needs to be done and do it. Are you willing to make a commitment
daily to your success? Make a personal commitment to stay with the process.
5) Review your ideal prospect. Be prepared to edit your review and reflect
on where they can be found. Keep an image of this handy. When you know
precisely what you are looking for, you will find it
6) Offer a customer loyalty program. Remember that 80% of your prospects and
referrals can come from current clients and alliances. What can you do to
keep these folks engaged with you? Major retailers have loyalty programs.
What about you?
7) Craft a connections strategy. When you touch your clients 12 times you
build sales momentum (email/e-zines, phone calls, cards, gifts, postcards,
events, and fax). Treat your top clients like gold and they will gladly
refer you.
8) Do not buy into the viruses of struggle; this virus infects local
businesses. It is called the “good enough” virus. Practice daily reframing.
Change your position from negative or status quo to one of possibilities.
Take action and offer solutions. For every action there is a reaction and
for every challenge there is a solution.
9) Jump into the winner’s circle by creating your best life; celebrate you,
excellent self care and reframe your mindset to include greatness.
