ADVICE...
I get the basic concept, but what really are the key
elements to the Law of Attraction?
If I had to choose a single crucial factor relating to our ability to
attract what we want in life, it would be the presence of courage. At least
that is so for most of us.
For those of us who have seen or read The Secret and had opportunity to work
with the three basic steps: ASK...BELIEVE...and RECEIVE, it may be acutely
within our awareness how difficult it can be to make our journey that
simple.
What if I told you that we all have the ability to know, without knowing how
we know? A woman knows things in her womb. A man has a “gut feeling”. If we
allow ourselves to trust that way of knowing and are willing to tell
ourselves the truth about what “just is”, there is actually nothing standing
between us and what we wish to attract. What courage it would take to see
with that level of awareness! Let’s take a closer look at those three basic
steps.
ASK - Do you really “know” what you want? I once coached someone who
wanted ten million dollars. He wrote himself a cheque, dated it and posted
it on his door so he could see it every day. He worked through the three
steps as he understood them, and was frustrated that he could not manifest
the money. I asked him why he wanted the money and it turned out that he
really wanted freedom. What do you really want?
BELIEVE - Do you have the courage to see through the filter of your
past experiences enough to tell yourself the truth about what is possible?
Can you see the true measure of your worth, at least some of the time? We
are taught to see our limitations and often forget the times when we are
able to stretch ourselves and create something greater. Can you believe that
what you want can come to you in ways you were unable to imagine before?
RECEIVE - Are you able to put aside what you are sure you know, in
order to empty your cup and make room for a new possibility? What story
needs to be rewritten in order for you to let go of what stands in your way?
It takes a lot of courage in our world to see how powerful we really are.
