Your Life! Believe In Your Own Power
By Karen Klassen of Imagine SeminarsDo you have a great idea for a
business, but youre not sure if youre brave enough to make the jump? Do you
feel you have a purpose, but youre not sure what that is? Or maybe youve
created something and feel no one would buy it anyway -- so whats the point? It is
questions like these that often stop us from moving up to the next level and fulfilling
our dreams.
Living an enriching life means improving the quality or value of the
life we have. We may feel we have succeeded in creating a great family life or work life,
yet we still feel unfulfilled. Its as if something is missing. I agree that there is
great purpose in raising children; however, too many women lose their way in the daily
routine of nurturing and uplifting others that they forget their own personal journey.
This article is written in the hopes that you will be inspired to be
more and to live more than you are today. To me, the riches of life are family, friends,
optimal health and doing what you love to do. If you do not love your job or where you are
in life, it is difficult to uplift and share your passion and happiness with those close
to you.
Today, more and more women are tapping into their inner power and
claiming what is theirs. Many are starting businesses, sharing ideas and releasing the
fear of self-expression, thus enriching their life and those around them. We enrich our
own lives when we embrace the path of fully becoming who we are meant to be.
The journey of the entrepreneur is one I highly recommend. It is on
this path that one truly discovers who they are and what they are made of. I believe we
are here to create something unique that is our own and share those creations with the
world.
We may have fear associated with taking such a risk that may be linked
to feelings of inadequacy, or we may feel we lack the education. Some of the most
successful people in the world do not have a university degree; besides, comparing
yourself to others stops here. You are unique and it doesnt matter what age you are
or what you have done or not done; you can achieve anything you desire if you set your
mind to it.
Obtaining clarity is the first step towards enriching your life. Get
real with where you are at and what direction you want to take. Go stand in front of a
mirror and let your self know what you really want out of life. Reflect for a moment on
how different your life would be if you took the ideas you have in your head and made them
real. Now write a list of who would benefit and how. See, how amazing you are!
Secondly, you have to believe in yourself? If you do not believe in
yourself, how do you expect others to? With the qualities of self-respect and
self-acceptance you begin to enrich not only your life, but everyone around you.
Thirdly, take ACTION! Action is the bridge between your dream and your
reality. Too many people focus on the end result and forget the many details that lead to
eventual success. Action means moving forward one step at a time. Making connections with
people who are like-minded and have the same values you do, will give you the courage to
move forward. Remember, actions speak louder than words, so honour your word and act with
a sense of dignity.
Nothing happens as fast as we would like it to. Dont let your
circumstances or people stress you. If youre feeling blocked, dont stop.
Seeking creative solutions to any setback will give you the courage to move forward. We
only become stressed when we focus on the future. Stay present and focus on what you can
do now. Life is a journey and the process of creation takes time.
Be grateful for what you have in the moment, as the more grateful you
are -- the more life will give to you. Explore and embrace life within yourself. Believe
in your own power and your own potential and you will live richly.
