Welcome Breast Cancer Survivors! Do you know you have
the option to safely & permanently adorn your new body with beautifully
placed, realistic-looking nipples? I’m honoured to
accompany Breast Cancer Warriors in an integral part of their battle through
the opening of H.E.A.R.T, a professional studio that specializes in
areola/nipple reconstructive tattoo.
Since being diagnosed with the BRCA1 gene, and agreeing with doctors
recommendation for a bilateral mastectomy, I have made a shift in my focus
as a tattoo artist.
I opened my first private tattoo studio in 1996, and have been tattooing
professionally for over 15 years. I’ve owned studios for 10 years, including
part ownership in local favorite, Bushido Tattoo, and 5 years at the world
famous Smilin’ Buddha Tattoo. I’ve been interviewed on radio, television and
newspapers for my tattooing. I’ve judged many tattoo competitions, won
multiple awards and traveled all across Canada, working alongside some of
the best professionals in the world!
After so many years of wholehearted devotion to progressive, high standards
and creative approach, I’ve had well over 13,000 clients. This has enabled
me to acquire a substantial amount of knowledge regarding ALL skin types -
regardless of age, weight and skin tone. I have extensive experience with
scar tissue, stretch marks, moles and sun damage.
I now specialize in reconstruction of the areola/ nipple complex by
repigmentation, and color matching on scarred skin and hypopigmentation.
This is a quick and painless procedure that allows Breast Cancer Warriors to
reclaim their sexual identity!
