Trusting - Confidence in Ultimate
Business Success
By Jan Eden of CEO In Training Trusting that you will
achieve ultimate success is the highest
level of self-confidence. You either trust or you do not trust. Before establishing trust,
you must clearly and truthfully know and define what trust actually means and provides.
Each person's interpretation of trust is different.
How can you trust if you have not identified what to trust? Before you
can trust another, you must trust yourself. Trusting yourself is a higher leadership
vibration. Once igniting this vibration, the law of attraction begins to attract the
objectives you desire. You attract who and what you are. If you are trusting, you will
then attract others who are trusting. Our lack of values may inevitably attract to us what
we do not want.
Trusting demands self-discipline, accountability and discernment.
Proactively observing and regularly recognizing what self-sabotaging elements may present
themselves will ultimately stir lack of trust. By taking inventory of your strengths and
limitations, you can see immediately where you need to find solutions in order to avoid
distrust. A powerful reminder that will encourage you to not only trust that you will
succeed, is to realize that you are not building your success solely alone. As you become
more comfortable with trusting yourself, you will begin to let go and allow your business
to naturally grow on its own. The business wants to form itself, and in that formation,
succeed.
A business contains many components. Each component has its own energy,
vibration and desire to create itself. Look at the parts that make up the whole. You are
only one part and your business success is dependent upon the healthy development of all
parts. On a clean sheet of paper, draw a circle in the middle of the page, which we will
identify as YOU. From this circle, draw four separate lines and attach to those lines four
more circles. Place inside each circle a significant part that makes up the whole. The
parts are represented as follows: the name of your business; your customers, clients or
patients; your employees or contractors; and last, the suppliers that serve you in order
to better serve your customers, clients or patients. If you are a public company, you
would add two more circles and include the board of directors and shareholders.
Positioned in the centre, you are the driving force and the heart and soul of
the business. Without you there would be no business; you are the nucleus of the whole.
Without you beginning the cycle of trust and belief, how would the other parts survive?
One of your biggest responsibilities is to consciously fuel all parts on the highest
level, consistently respecting and acknowledging why and how each part significantly
serves the whole. Remember, the greatest weakness in the world today is lack of authentic
leadership. By leading by example and fuelling your leadership strengths, you immediately
attract to you what serves you in order to achieve your goals and objectives. As you fuel
these integral parts, they become stronger entities unto themselves and actually form
their own vibration.
Leading with deliberate intention creates a profound ripple effect that
not only affects your business, but other businesses connected to these separate parts.
These parts are a mirroring of your strengths, your beliefs and your limitations. The
advantage these entities hold over you is they are emotionally detached to your goals and
objectives. Their sole purpose is to become better. If you fail, they fail. If you
succeed, they succeed. All the parts, including yourself, are dependent on your level of
belief and self trust. If any one part of the whole vibrates at a lower vibration, it
disturbs the balance and intent. As you consistently and consciously fuel these
significant parts with trust and positive reinforcement, the vibration of the whole will
increase and begin to attract the success you clearly and ultimately desire. Once you have
reached this level of knowing, a shift happens that is difficult to explain. I guarantee
once you experience this higher level of trust, you and your business will transform. The
transformation is so contagious, it will spill over to all who are connected and affected
by the whole - professionally, financially and personally.
