Rising Woman - Jan EdenConscious Choices - Letting Go & Moving Forward
By Jan Eden - CEO IN Training Inc.

Every day in every way we unconsciously or consciously  make choices to either succeed or to fail. The thought of waking each morning and intentionally choosing to fail is absolutely insane, but on some level we do and we are not even aware of the fact until it is too late.

It is possible for a person to move from making unconscious choices to making more courageous, bold and deliberate conscious choices that transform the end result they are seeking. You can learn to make conscious choices that will not only create an enormous positive and abundant ripple effect, but also more importantly, sustain the success achieved. Become the observer of what you desire. Float above the thoughts you have about yourself and others. As the observer, ask yourself the following direct questions and answer them sincerely and honestly. “Who are you becoming as a human being?” “Who are you becoming in this moment?” “What have you accomplished to date?” Be generous with yourself about your accomplishments.

Taking inventory of your successes may be one of the hardest tasks. Talking about what we haven’t accomplished always seems to take precedent. We can invent many lists identifying our deficiencies, however the only benefit would be to acknowledge the deficiency, discover why it is on your list, and what have you learned and discerned from it. The conscious choice would be to immediately let go of the deficiencies, as they are only illusions and certainly do not serve who you really are in choosing who you are becoming. Who you are becoming is a human being with unlimited possibilities and desires to deliberately make better choices.

The next questions to ask yourself would be, “What legacy do you desire to leave behind and be known for?” “What are your strengths and limitations in choosing to become someone greater?” “What are you not prepared to do to accomplish your goals or objectives?” and “What are you not doing to sustain the success you desire?” Most significantly, “What are others that you have chosen to surround yourself with also not doing to sustain the success you desire?”

The only aspect of yourself that will disallow you from choosing to make conscious choices is your struggle in being accountable to your own truth. Knowing that if you do not make conscious choices that serve you, you will choose to be a victim of yourself.

The fact that you have knowingly chosen to read this article is no accident. I congratulate you for seeing the value in yourself. The differences you will experience in being completely accountable to your every thought, word and deed will enormously impact the higher results you desire of yourself and for yourself. In choosing to become greater tomorrow than you are today takes great courage, insight and personal commitment.

Committing to this level of accountability will positively change your life. Let go of the fear of change, of the unknown, of the ‘what ifs’ and step into making conscious choices each and every day that serve you. By intentionally choosing each step of the way, you will have total control. You will lead your life with pure intent, belief and faith in the outcome vs. wishing and hoping that you will eventually achieve the results you desire. Daily practice of living in conscious choice shifts your energy. The result is very real and awesome. The sensation you will experience is tangible. You immediately feel more confident, excited, reassured and, most importantly, more focused on what new disciplines you need master in order to sustain. It really does not take rocket science to realize that every day in every way, every person has the freedom to make intentional choices that serve him/her and fuel their life by choosing to experience a positive outcome.

As I mentioned earlier, a person would have to be insane to actually choose to sabotage or destroy their life by making poor decisions that feed the negative and victim consciousness. Forming this new proactive habit will take conscious thought and delivery. The blessing is that now you know the difference. I trust that from this moment on you will choose to make the higher choice to be better tomorrow than you are today professionally, financially and personally.
