Rising Woman - Patrishe CollotonVision Statement for Success in Business & Life in General
By Patrishe Colloton - Intuitive Life Caoch & Speaker

Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.” - Japanese proverb

If I told you to sit on the side of your bed each morning upon waking and say ten times, with a strong and powerful voice, “Today I am going to get a serious illness. Today my business is going to fail,” you would think I had gone crazy.

Why wouldn’t you do it? Would you be afraid it might come true? The answer to that question is most likely a big, fat YES!

We have now established your belief in the power of the spoken word. You are intelligent enough not to tell yourself negative things. So why is it that most people resist writing a vision statement that expresses their wildest dreams and desired successes? Are they afraid that all those good things might come true as well?

Creating a Life Vision Statement is the greatest gift you can give yourself. A well-written vision statement, using all five senses, has the power within it to change your life for good. It is necessary to read it out loud three times per day, morning, noon, and before sleep. You are literally impressing your subconscious mind with the new movie of your business and life. You have been the ‘star’ in the old movie for years and it will take enthusiasm, effort and commitment to achieve change. Once your mind accepts the new script, your inner genius will create the means and opportunities to bring the movie into manifestation. Your job is to create and sell the new movie to yourself. Here are seven requirements necessary for creating a successful Life Vision Statement:

    1) Give yourself an hour or two of free time, away from family, friends and colleagues. Find a quiet place. I find having some soft music playing helps this process. Have lots of paper and pencils available.

    2) Imagine living the life you have always dreamed of. Begin to write in detail, no censoring allowed. When you finish the first statement, screw it up, throw it away and begin again. Do this three to four times. Some new items may appear on the third and fourth try. The genius is coming through on paper. The items that appear over and over again are generally part of your life mission; you can be certain you have all the talent necessary to manifest these heartfelt desires.

    3) You are now ready to add the five senses. Visions without the added power of feelings have little chance of manifesting. Feelings are energy in motion. Your vision needs lots of energy to bring it into form.

    4) Begin reading out loud. Really use your imagination to add the feelings of success.
    - Hear people congratulating you. What are they saying?
    - What kind of day is it?
    - How much is your company worth? See the figure on the year-end statement.
    - Where is your office? How many staff? What’s the date on the calendar?
    - Where do you live? What does your house look like? Who is there with you?
    - Smell the flowers in your office and home.
    - See the company Christmas party. Hear the laughter, the crystal glasses clinking.
    - How does the food taste?
    - How many clients are there? How many friends and loved ones can you see?
    - How much new business have you generated? How has the business grown?
    - What are you wearing? What does your hair look like?
    - What are you feelings as you look at this scene of success?
    - Anchor the feelings, sounds, scents and pictures of success.

    5) Each time you read your vision statement, bring all the sights, sounds, colours and tastes into the visualization. You will begin to feel the energy of the vision in your body.

    6) If you begin to skip days, know you are resisting the success available to you. Take time and ask yourself what bothers you about success.

    7) Recommit your time and energy. Remember, you deserve success and only you can give yourself that gift.
